Been here twice since moving to Tampa. The techs at this location are extremely welcoming, polite and knowledgeable. They get the job done quickly and remain transparent the whole way through. Even let me know I didn’t need a new windshield wiper yet when they could have easily sold me on something not necessary (the integrity is refreshing!).

Super Quick and Friendly! Javier and his partner were Professional and Super Nice. Called ahead to make sure they had my Audi filter, they did, no problem. Phone support was super nice and offered a coupon. Arrived 15 mins later ans was driving out less than 45 mins after my call.

I would not recommend Take 5 Oil Change on Kennedy. I took my car in for an oil change, and the oil was not properly drained and was severely overfilled. My car holds 5.7 quarts, but they put in more than 6.7 quarts. After leaving, my car began violently shaking and white smoke started coming from the back. I pulled over and tried calling the shop for help, but I could not get anyone to answer for an hour and a half. When I finally reached them, they told me they could not do anything to help. I had to have my car towed to a Ford dealership, where they confirmed that the oil was significantly overfilled. Take 5 refused to assist with the tow or take responsibility for the situation. Do not take your car here.

Darreon was so helpful from start to finish. He told me about different deals to help me save money, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was taken care of the whole time. Since you stay in your car at Take 5, it was really hot outside, and they even brought over a fan to keep me cool while they worked. The entire crew was so sweet, welcoming, and friendly. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars, they made the whole process easy and stress-free. I had a great experience and will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

The first time I came here, they forgot to put the oil cap back on. A few days later, I check why my oil is low and find that it has all spilled out and I’ve been running on empty oil. I had to buy more and refill it myself. When I needed another oil change several months later, I thought to myself, “It was probably just a fluke”… I was wrong. After this second time, they forgot to tighten the skid plate and, a day later, it starts dragging on the highway, damaging the undercarriage. Plus, the low tire pressure sensor starts going off even though they had just filled it. That’s probably broken too. I went back to see if they can fix my car, and they used zip ties to secure the plate since the screws fell out. I appreciate them doing this for me, and the workers are very nice. However, I have to say this place seriously sucks. I now need to go to a real mechanic to get an actual fix.
